FAQ

Questions before starting nutritional therapy.

A few clear answers to help you feel informed before booking a free consultation.

Do you work with clients online or only in Aberdeenshire?

I work with clients online across the UK and in person in Aberdeenshire by arrangement. Online support works well for autoimmune and digestive health work and gives flexibility around appointments.

Can you help if I have had tests and been told everything is “normal”?

Yes. Many clients come to me after being told their results are normal but they still do not feel well. We take a closer, whole-person look at what could be driving your symptoms.

Do I need an autoimmune diagnosis to work with you?

No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to get support. If you are struggling with immune-related symptoms, fatigue, digestion or ongoing flares, we can explore what is going on together.

What is nutritional therapy?

Nutritional therapy uses personalised food, lifestyle and wellbeing guidance to support your health goals. It looks at your whole picture rather than giving generic diet advice.

How do I know if working with a nutritional therapist is right for me?

That is exactly what the free discovery call is for. It gives you space to talk things through, ask questions and see if it feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to commit.

Will I need to take supplements?

Not always. Supplements are only recommended where they are suitable, useful and aligned with your needs and any medication you take.

How long does it take to see results?

Every person is different. Some clients notice changes within weeks. Long-term concerns often need steady, supported progress over time, especially with autoimmune conditions.
